Teacher Education Access for Minorities (TEAM)

TEAM is an opportunity for high school seniors to get connected with teacher education programs at Illinois State University.  Conferences are held for students and parents/family members to learn about admissions procedures, scholarship and financial aid opportunities, and campus organizations for minority students.  In addition, students can take a tour of the campus and speak with other teacher education majors.

Illinois State University is proud to be a leader in educating future teachers. The University is consistently recognized nationally among the 10 largest producers of teachers among American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education institutions. Nearly one of every seven teachers in the classrooms of Illinois public schools holds a degree from Illinois State.
